Dapple
Inspired by soft afternoon sunshine falling through leaves overhead. I love the feeling of standing under trees. The sense of calm and protection their branches bestow is unlike any other feeling, I think, and the way the light filters down through leaves and creates a myriad of shifting patterns is truly beautiful. If I have caught even a smidge of that experience in these rings then I would be happy.
The rings shown here are a 3mm wide band, a 5mm wide band and a 6mm wide band, all made in recycled silver. All three rings are polished, but I think they’d look nice with a matte surface too. Matte rings tend to show the shape of each individual facet better, whereas with a polished ring your eye is dazzled by the reflection of light.
I can make these rings in silver, 9 carat, or 18 carat yellow gold, rose gold or white gold. I can also use gold you've inherited, if you prefer. Or a mix! The beauty of a truly handmade ring is that I have total control over your metal, it's never sent away to a third party, so that means we can use it exactly as you want to.
